Why Loko

Built different from cellular GPS trackers

Most GPS trackers depend on a cell signal. Loko uses LoRa P2P radio to talk directly to your own Ground Station — no towers, no SIM, no monthly bill. Ever.

Built for where cell towers end

Loko is the world's smallest LoRa GPS tracker. At just 22 × 22 × 15 mm and 14 grams, it attaches to anything — a dog collar, a drone frame, farm machinery, a backpack strap — and keeps transmitting your exact location for up to 12 months on a single charge.

Unlike every cellular GPS tracker on the market, Loko uses LoRa P2P radio to communicate directly with your Ground Station over 20 km of open terrain. No SIM card, no data plan, no monthly bill. Ever.

The companion app for iOS and Android displays real-time position, tracking history, geofence alerts, and manages up to 30 simultaneous devices. Your data stays on your device — no cloud required.

All firmware is open source. Advanced users can extend, modify, and reflash over USB-C.

Works perfectly 8 km from the cabin

I use this to track my hunting dogs in the forest. My closest cell tower is 15 km away. The bundle with the ground station gives me live position updates every 30 seconds — exactly what I needed. Battery has lasted the entire 4-month hunting season.

Saved my drone twice in 3 months

I fly FPV in dense woodland where RC signal regularly drops out. Attached Loko to the frame and it's saved me from losing two drones already. The fact it stores last-known position even after a crash is brilliant.

Tracking 12 tractors with one station

Runs our entire 800-acre farm with a single Ground Station. Previously paid €40/month per vehicle on SIM-based trackers — that's over €500/month. Now it's zero. Setup took an afternoon. Range covers every field we have.

Finally a tracker that works in the mountains

Tried three cellular GPS trackers for backcountry hiking. All failed above 2,000 m where there's no signal. Loko just works. 14 grams — I don't even notice it. The geofencing means my emergency contact gets an alert if I leave the planned route.
